Today, you will hear the Universal Truths we study in the work of Dr. Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, HH Dalai Lama, Louise Hay and other well-known spiritual and personal growth teachers. We believe God is not a person but a Principle personified in each of us. As we learn to recognize Its unchangeable and eternal Presence within, and then apply the consciousness of that indwelling Presence to circumstances in our lives, our lives and the world becomes a more loving, peaceful and abundant place to live. We are primarily a teaching and learning center. Our weekly Sunday Celebration Services are at 10:30 am with youth church and childcare. You can see more of the classes, workshops and events we offer within this site or by calling the church office. In August we will be moving to a new location so keep checking back. The Center for Spiritual Awakening was established in the Yuba-Sutter counties in November 2003. We are a vital and growing community of people from a variety of backgrounds and interests. What draws us together is a dedication to the growing expression of love, freedom, peace, joy, abundance in our lives and the lives of all in the world. We bless all paths that seek to understand the Greater Reality of Life. We know there is a Golden Thread of Truth that runs through all enduring spiritual traditions and faiths along with the continual discoveries of today’s science such as Quantum physics. The formulation of the Science of Mind, as written by Dr. Ernest Holmes in 1927, was influenced by the worlds enduring religions, the teachings of Jesus, The Baghavad Gita, Buddha, Mary Baker Eddy (founder of Christian Science), transcendentalist Ralph Waldo Emerson, Judge Thomas Troward, Emma Cutis Hopkins and other brilliant philosophers and spiritual teachers. However, we are not a blend of these, but a clear statement of Universal Principles that hold true today.
